On February 20, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not grant the President of the United States the authority to impose customs duties for trade purposes.
As a result, the Court declared unlawful the tariffs introduced on the basis of this Act, allowing companies that paid such duties to file refund claims.
The webinar will examine the operational procedures for submitting refund claims. It will cover documentation requirements, applicable deadlines, and the opportunities that Italian companies may seize in this new regulatory scenario.
