Bacciardi Partners assisted a leading company from the Romagna region, active in the design and production of systems and solutions for the mechanical engineering industry, in the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Japan.
The new Japanese subsidiary represents a strategic driver for the Group’s growth and international expansion, aimed at strengthening its presence in the Japanese market and across the Asia-Pacific region. The initiative will consolidate the Group’s sales network and after-sales support, with the ultimate goal of developing a direct expansion strategy in the Far East.
Bacciardi Partners provided integrated and multidisciplinary legal assistance, which included:

reviewing and defining the contractual relationships with the previous Japanese distributor and structuring the new contractual framework for product distribution in the local market;

providing global mobility advice for the transfer of the Italian management team appointed to lead the new subsidiary, including entry visas and residence permits;

incorporating and registering the Japanese subsidiary through Bacciardi Partners’ international network of local correspondents;

identifying and implementing the business model and transfer pricing policy in accordance with both Italian and Japanese regulations.
