\"RiformaThe EU Regulation 2023\/1115 introduces new legal obligations aimed at tackling deforestation<\/strong> and forest degradation linked to the placing on the EU market of commodities such as wood, soy, cattle, palm oil, coffee, cocoa, and natural rubber.<\/p>\n

As of 30 December 2024, companies must demonstrate that these products do not originate from deforested or degraded area<\/strong>s, through a robust due diligence system that includes traceability of supply chains, geolocation of production sites, risk assessment, and a compliance statement.<\/p>\n

The webinar will provide a practical overview of:<\/p>\n

a) the businesses and products subject to the new regulation
\nb) the specific due diligence obligations required;
\nc) the risks of goods being blocked and the penalties for non-compliance.<\/p>\n

This session is designed to help companies understand the implications of the Regulation and plan ahead to align their internal processes and supply chains accordingly.<\/p>\n
