The Covid-19 health emergency has been generating a global crisis as well as an impressive change of the international economic environment in which MNEs operate, with a consequent impact on their performances and, therefore, on the economic analyses aimed at verifying that transfer prices are set at arm’s length.
In view of the present uncertainty, MNEs will have to carefully assess the need/opportunity to review their transfer pricing policies, in particular whether to immediately renegotiate transfer prices with foreign affiliates and how to allocate losses or extra profits resulting from COVID-19 crisis among them.
It is also crucial that MNEs immediately prepare all the appropriate documentation in order to support and justify the choices made, considering that the audits by Tax Authorities, if any, may be carried out even several years later.
The webinar has a practical and operational approach and illustrates to participants the main impacts that Covid-19 crisis can have on transfer pricing policies of multinational groups of companies, as well as the possible solutions to manage such impacts and develop the benchmark analyses relating to the tax years impacted by the current crisis.
