The origin of goods represents one of the most relevant aspects in international trade operations.

Correctly determining the origin of goods allows companies to apply the appropriate customs treatment, benefit from potential tariff advantages, and reduce the risk of disputes and penalties imposed by customs authorities.

The webinar examines the EU regulatory framework and the most relevant operational aspects relating to the origin of goods. In particular, it explores the distinction between preferential and non-preferential origin, substantial transformation rules, European Union free trade agreements, proofs of origin, customs audits, and the main operational risks for companies.

A dedicated Q&A session for participants will also be included.

The event is part of a training project promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Romagna in collaboration with Bacciardi Partners, aimed at supporting local businesses.
