Italian companies operating internationally frequently carry out supplies of goods to other EU Member States or to non-EU countries.
The correct qualification of the transaction is a key element for VAT purposes. Errors in managing the supply may result in the denial of the VAT exemption, VAT recovery and the application of penalties.
For intra-EU transactions, companies must verify that the conditions required for the application of the VAT exemption regime are met, obtain evidence of the transport of the goods and correctly manage the relevant documentary obligations. Particular attention must be paid to transactions treated as intra-EU supplies and to transactions involving the processing of goods.
For exports, companies must coordinate VAT rules with the documentary requirements and customs formalities related to the exit of goods from the customs territory of the European Union. Proper management of documentation plays a crucial role in proving the export of goods and supporting the application of the VAT exemption regime.
The webinar will analyse the main rules applicable to intra-EU supplies and exports, with a practical approach focused on the effective management of international transactions.
A dedicated Q&A session will be included during the webinar.
